Made in the SouthWest – Winner 2023
We are delighted to announce that we have won an award! We have had a big week here at Piran Composites. We kicked off with a few days at Advanced Engineering at the NEC, Birmingham, meeting with our fantastic customers and suppliers. We then travelled to Bristol for Insider Media’s ‘Made in the Southwest Awards 2023.’
Automotive, Aerospace and Rail Category
We were shortlisted in their Automotive, Aerospace and Rail Category alongside other fantastic aerospace companies. It was a fantastic event with some truly impressive businesses, all based right here in the southwest, achieving incredible things in designing and making products across the region. This event certainly championed them all.
Nerves were felt as our category was called, and we were amazed when ‘the winners are Piran Advanced Composites’ rang across the speakers. Words can’t describe the pride we feel in winning this award; it is a true testament to the incredible ethos our MD, Mawgan Searle, built at the heart of Piran. It shines light on the wealth of knowledge, hard work, and passion our team has for what we do in advanced composites manufacturing.
We have had our challenges, specifically with huge growth in a short space of time. However, we showcased our ability to navigate this whilst creating innovative designs and manufacturing across numerous industries and believe that is why we were chosen.
